Vous en avez marre de vous emmerder au point FMR et ses caméras de surveillance? vous ne supportez plus le Baron? la NIMP est trop hype dans l’anti-hype? la Miroiterie ferme, les Instants Chavirés ont des ennuis, Beaubourg a du mal à suivre, le Palais de Tokyo fait du biz, la Maison des Métallos n’expérimente bientôt plus et le 104 est déjà à la ramasse, etc etc.. il ne reste quasi que deux lieux sur Paris pour faire la fête et faire quelques expériences dignes de ce nom : la société de curiosités et la Gare aux Gorilles. Channeling#1 a eu lieu en 2009 à la société, Channeling#2 aura lieu à la GAG, afin de faire un peu plus de bruit.

Au programme, une série d’actions solos/duos/trios intenses plus ou moins courtes, transes, possessions, hypnoses, bruitisme vocal et électronique, incantations, stroboscopes, percussions indigènes, free grind tribal et délirium tremens, Channeling va regarder un petit coup derrière le rideau de la réalité pour faire quelques crèpes mutantes, bon appétit!!

 

HYLICS (UK)
Hylics, of matter; “Can be thought of as a level of thinking, dealing with the lowest portion of human nature. It is considered living by instinctual drives with no sublimation. Hylics, choikus, sarkics, etc. are said to be below ‘Psychics’ which are below ‘Gnostokoi,’ the highest order of transcendence.”
A modern day witchcraft, techno-mysticism, electro-hallucination; electronic alchemy.
The Hylics use base materials such as the body, wood, and metal, feeding them with electricity.
The Hylics are Ryan Jordan and Geraldine McEwan.

 

RYAN JORDAN (UK)
Psychoid is a live audiovisual performance utilising minimal electronics, sound/noise, and strobe lights. Loud bangs, cracks, snaps and static noises are controlled by the varying rates of three strobe lights. The noise and flashing lights increase in intensity and speed until noticeable rhythms and patterns emerge, reminiscent of hallucinatory trance like states.

A mediactivist, artist-researcher, composer / musician, poet and tongues destroyer, experimental film maker and anarchitect, founder and member of apo33, Julien Ottavi is involved in research and creative work, combining sound art, real-time video, new technologies and construction of electronic devices. An activist in the free software movement, he develops Apodio, a Gnu/Linux multimedia distribution. He is actually co-director of the Area10Medialab in London and participates in, and produces, numerous events such as conventions of researchers, artists and activists, sound art or multimedia festivals, workshops on free software and DIY electronics, etc.
